As much as I miss Blue Sky, I know damn well that no studio under the current Disney umbrella could possibly make something this unapologetically based.

At the end of the day it’s a vibes movie. But Animal Crossing is very much a vibes game and pretty much all the mechanics are retooled in a way that makes this nearly everything I could ask for from an adaptation of my favorite gaming franchise of all time.
