'It Follows' is already surely to be my favorite horror film of the year. It is without a doubt one of the most unique horror films I've seen from the past fifteen years that unfortunately mostly consists of nothing but remakes, found footage films and possession stories. I first heard about this film from reading a review from legendary director William Friedkin, director of 'The Exorcist (1973)'. In his review he gave an overwhelming amount of praise for it and said it's simply one of the scariest films he'd ever seen. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite live up to the hype he laid before me.
