Grand Theft Hamlet is a mad meta-experiment that turns a pandemic-era idea into something very human. Two out-of-work British actors to Grand Theft Auto V during lockdown, desperate for creative meaning and, maybe also of an audience, to put on Hamlet inside a lawless video game world.

The cinematography and action choreography are as expected from a John Wick movie: Awesome! I enjoyed being back in this world, even though Balerina didn’t do much to expand the world-building or characters and the story was just a long string of revenge tropes.
