Now that the embargo has lifted on The Creator here are some thoughts from the early screening I attended in May and where the film sits now.

It is unfortunately a film that is all over the place. I really hoped, by some miracle, they'd be able to save it in the edit, but the story when I screened it just wasn't there and the character moments had no time to breathe. It was, at best, a strung together montage…
