Rory Doherty’s review published on Letterboxd:
A much funnier and freer movie than Serpent's Path, but that doesn't stop Eyes of the Spider veering suddenly back into existential numbness and stomach-turning discomfort throughout. A much more compelling and assured film that I gave it credit for on first watch – precise and clear in its commentary on a new capitalist ghoul taking hold of a national psyche in flux, never giving answers but always promising surety. A toast to new beginnings!
