The first 5 or so minutes is beyond belief. Doesn't always sustain that high but consistently surprising

Not settled on this one, and would be foolish to go off of first impressions here. But one of the more elusive ones for me, which may end up lending to its intrigue. I think on first glance it doesn't have the thrill of discovery every single other one has, but I'm open to burrowing deeper. This filmmaker has earned that... Another thing I will say is I can't tell if this film is for math guys or taking the piss out of math guys
Struggling with the efficacy of this, which while featuring pretty bravura sequences scattered within it, essentially bungles its selling point (namely the porcelain part). Feels like there's ample opportunity to connect the dots between the insistence of the artist to create and the solider to press on, but it's far too interested in the latter, and seemingly uninterested in interrogating any of it past a surface level.
