Greene came up with some good stories but this tv movie is really only watchable because of the cast, minus Hopkins' beard.

Pretty good noir, it deserves the cinematography Oscar it won. Good story, too. Even if it felt a beat or two too slow to really give it the suspense it deserved.

I agree it would have benefitted from more Orson Welles.

Yeah, this is at least tied with Empire as my favorite. Now that the Skywalker saga is done, give me more of this over more Jedi lore. 5.
