There were honestly a few visual gags and moments of physical comedy that managed to get a chuckle out of me which is more than I can say for the first time I watched this. Though it’s not enough to make up for the awful gross out humor, the dumb jokes about doing modern things like taking selfies in the Victorian era, the incredibly on the nose political “commentary” where the just talk about the state the country was in…

The crowd of middle and high schoolers cheered every other scene so I couldn’t hear a good chunk of it but you know what, if there’s any movie to have that happen with, I’m glad it’s this.

I know next to nothing about Minecraft and even I got the feeling you don’t just mindlessly swing an axe at an enderman a few times to defeat it. Thankfully my friend who knows a lot about Minecraft was there to validate me.
