Film #271 of 366.
While I think this film can come off as senseless without any real goal, the performances save the whole thing for me. I am a big fan of dark content and this is daaaarrrrkkk. The whole cast is astonishing. Tom Holland soars as he sheds the golden boy image he's been holding onto since 2017, and it's honestly exhilarating to watch. But it's Robert Pattinson that steals the damn show! The high timbre of his Joker-esque voice, mixed with his southern accent and slithery characteristics that are absolutely nightmare-inducing. Then to see these two together on screen is the cherry on top.
