The first movie is still the better one, but I do enjoy a good old-fashioned "Whodunit." I'm genuinely intrigued by this new direction in Paul Feig's filmmaking career. He's starting to take on a Giallo-like vibe, almost reminiscent of Dario Argento. Obviously he'll still make his goofy mindless slapstick comedies once in awhile, but with this shift, he’s definitely got my full attention.
Farewell David Lynch, one of the best filmmakers to ever lived.
This is a strange independent horror film with interesting commentary of David Lynch's fear becoming a father and it's amazing this is David Lynch's first movie. The dude is a great story teller from the start of his career.

This is David Lynch's favorite movie and that's no surprise if you watch this as a double feature with Eraserhead. It feels ahead of its time, a 1950s American movie exploring LGBT themes. In many ways, it stands as a precursor to New Queer Cinema and modern queer filmmaking. Bela Lugosi’s role may be odd, but it adds a certain strange charm to the whole experience. Ed Wood crafted a truly fascinating and experimental work here.…
