I understand what they went for in this, but I just couldn't get fully into it.
Although there were some things that I thought worked work well. The more dramatic tone and less of a horror story was interesting. I thought the acting was great all around. The cinematography and lighting can make or break a movie for me, and this one was saved by it. To me it was the most interesting part of the film.
