Jack Moulton’s review published on Letterboxd:
I went to Universal Studios today and rode Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (which had supplemental footage shot during the production of this movie) three times, mostly because it was quiet enough that there was no line, but also because, for my money, it's the best ride in California. The details are great, the transitions are pitch-perfect and it's so immersive (the bit with the Dementors is genuinely terrifying, Harry is literally saving you there) even without the 3D. I didn't realize I was lucky enough to ride it while it still had 3D back in 2016 and it took me a good hour to shake off that experience. Really incredible stuff, theme-park-wise.
Order of the Phoenix movie is pretty good and technically and thematically sound, but it's missing the Harry Potter texture of the other ones. I'm still not quite sure why.
