Breaking my rule of reviewing TV episodes just to talk about this one, because honestly, it could’ve been a full-blown blockbuster.

I was surprised not only that they pulled off a sequel episode, but that it might actually sur the original. While it’s more upbeat than your typical Black Mirror, I really enjoyed it for what it set out to be: a fun, fast-paced sci-fi romp.

Honestly? I had more fun with this than with any Star Wars movie (except Rogue One) or sci-fi film I’ve seen since like 2015. Straight-up kino 👌🏾

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch

Watched Plaything and it hit me, I hadn’t revisited Bandersnatch in ages. I was obsessed with it when it first dropped, and rewatching it now? Still a fucking masterpiece. The concept, the execution, all of it, peak Black Mirror, peak Netflix. That era of next-level innovation where everything clicked. It’s so sharp, so meta, I think this is the best it ever was, there is and ever will be.

And honestly? Colin’s PAC-man acid trip monologue weirdly speaks to me.…

Has such a cool aesthetic, the colours just POP, a timeless classic!
