Rewatched this gem with my dad to confirm that it’s Hollywood’s best take on Soviet culture. 

True testament to what happened to the east after the fall of the union.

Hands down the best representation of Russia/USSR from any piece of western media.

That Zhiguli car chase was straight out of my childhood dreams. Felt really special seeing it. 

Fun movie overall. Also quite meaningful if you want it to be.
