Genuinely impressed with what they did with this takeover of the Angelika Film Center.

Made it for an amazing moviegoing experience. Had a ton of fun watching this one.

Felt strange watching this in a theater and not at a sleepover.

Moldova’s highest grossing film for a reason.
It’s funny, it’s relevant, it contextualizes the Moldovan experience in the past 30+ years.

Hopefully we’ll see more of this.

I’m starting to suspect they may have been more than just friends

First rewatch in a long time and it still holds up as one of the better debut features of recent time

Vibes were truly immaculate

God I love morally charged old men getting annoying at corruption in movies

You know maybe Elon’s involvement in this finally makes sense

That final sequence will stay with me for a long time. Just incredible. 

What a damn good movie throughout too. (It is a lil too slowly paced for a thriller of its caliber at times tho)

Second half was ever slightly slower 
But boy what a captivating story through and through 

Kurosawa you’re a master

Making middle aged white men seem interesting is high level art

Absolutely gut wrenching.
What a great performance by Rourke too
