James Woods sticks a PPK in his stomachussy and this still isn't even the weirdest Cronenberg film

It's the type of movie you love, but it also makes you hate how much you love movies and just having a screen stuck in your face all the time with ever increasing violence and sexual ads and content becoming normalized

I think the groups in the film were really thought out and put together as well with their motivations for past present…

"Ok so we have this scene where the protagonist is escaping through a window and crawling down the side of an 18th century building, do you think we should have some sort of dark dramatic sound?"

Argento: yeah I'm gonna need a 30 second kazoo solo followed by the slickest bass riff and drum fills from 1975 to come in over the top of this at 3000% audio

Always been a Guy Pearce and Hugo Weaving fan, and with pride month had no excuse not to finally check this out.

There are so many incredible outback shots here. You get to see the three leads out sarcasm each other, and dance around with some 🔥 wigs. Pearce brings it 100% and even if he is a little much at times it is still fitting and so fun to see him in this role. And I find Weaving's character…

Tom Cruise spends a good portion of this film in the same fit as Patrick Bateman and it suited him a little too well.

This is a beautiful 2.5 hour story with something always going on in the background. It's fun in that you can get lost in the details, coloring, face angles, or images blending in at times. It's like there is always more than one plot flowing at a time and no matter how you view it, it…

Rituals, soul transferring, demons, and a very biting case of intrusive thoughts gone wrong.

Feels like one of those movies new generation horror fans are going to have core memories around certain scenes. Even if it's not everyone's favorite flavor.

Sally Hawkins and the entire family carry the non gruesome portions of this film, with her best acting even above The Shape of Water imo. And please make sure Jonah Wren Phillips is doing alright. My boy went through some things here 💀

In 1976 John Carpenter answered the age old question "What if you took a zombie survival movie and gave all the zombies silenced guns?"

This of course is a lot more terrifying in reality than it sounds on paper
