A film about personal tragedy and stolen youth brimming with jaw-dropping action set-pieces, immaculate performances and incredible landscapes.

I have to point out that the performances from Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth are what really lift this film along with George Miller’s exceptional direction. Anya Taylor-Joy never at one moment fails to fall short to Theron’s depiction of Furiosa, she perfectly embodies a young Furiosa lusting for revenge…

I was honestly waiting to call this overrated seeing how high everyone thinks of this movie and was just thinking is it really as good as everyone says it is? The answer is yes fuck yes it is, JK Simmons deserves every type of accolade you could possibly give for that performance and just watching him in that role is pure entertainment.

This movie reminds me quite a bit of Black Swan as in the whole obsessed artist with aspirations…
