Buzzing with sinister charm, Blink Twice is a razor-sharp takedown of wealth and desire disguised as a sun-soaked fever dream. In just 102 minutes, it managed to do more with paranoia, privilege, and power plays than most prestige thrillers dare attempt. Sleek, savage, and impossible to look away from. This one shocked me.

Definitely more of a slow burn, but it’s got a really eerie vibe that makes it perfect for a quiet night when you’re in the mood for something unsettling but not outright terrifying. I didn’t totally connect with the pacing, but the atmosphere is thick with tension in a way that works more than it doesn’t. The sterile, almost dreamlike way it’s shot gives everything this cold, isolated feeling that fits the story really well. I think it’s worth watching for the vibes alone.

Does a film really need to be good? Is Lady Gaga doing crime not enough?
