Rob Savage‘s follow up to Host (which i enjoyed) is a disappointing cringe fest that can easily be skipped, even if the trailer peaked your interest like it did mine it’s just not worth the hassle. Quite on brand for Blumhouse but to a level I haven’t seen with these film’s before. Annie Hardy does a decent job with her given role at making this live-stream type of film believable but the dialogue becomes exhausting so quick it’s almost unbearable to listen to as the events take place. Kudos to anyone who actually read the entire live-stream chat!
