Yep, this is definitely the best-looking and sounding movie I've ever seen. Just an absolute juggernaut on all levels of filmmaking. A sequel that not only manages to stay true to the original without failing to be its own beast but also enhances it greatly. While not my favorite movie from Villeneuve (that title still belongs to Prisoners), it certainly is the biggest and most grandiose achievement of his career.

Underappreciated masterpiece.
I watched the first 30 minutes of The Godfather and fell asleep.
This movie, on the other hand, was an emotional ride throughout. It blends the styles of Tarantino's writing, Nolan's directing and Deakins' cinematography, which results in a timeless classic that continues to influence cinema in so many ways.
